Victoria Lewis
Welcome.
Victoria Lewis is a NYC based creative. She began taking art classes in high school back in Westchester, NY. She took two years of studio art, ceramics and painting. During her undergraduate curriculum as a Psychology major, she began taking film and digital photography courses. Her background in Psychology has made her especially sensitive to her subjects.
She continued her photography education after college working as an assistant for business portrait photographer and videographer, Jill Lotenberg, as well as fashion and editorial photographer, Carol Weinberg.
She has worked at the International Center of Photography, Pier 59 Studios, and 368. She is currently the Studio Manager at Harlem studio, Uptown Shots. Victoria also performs lighting tech, gaffer, set design, and photography at Uptown Shots.
Victoria has performed food photography work for numerous restaurants throughout NYC such as Chela, The Upsider, Eastward Poke, Mr. Panzerotto, Le Petit Parisien, & etc.
Victoria has facilitated multiple empowerment through photography workshops/classes for youth with the Josephine Herrick Project.
She has a great eye for lighting for video and photography. She has worked on countless music video sets as gaffer and 3 different webseries. She also has done DP work to help a few creators start their Youtube channels.
